Interviewer: Hello! It’s Teenagers Round the World Channel. Our guest today is a teenager from Russia and we are going to discuss teenagers’ attitude to online shopping. We’d like to know our guest’s point of view on this issue. Please answer five questions. So, let’s get started.

Interviewer: Have you ever bought anything online?
Student: Yes, I have. Last month I bought a pair of trainers and a few books on a popular online marketplace. Everything was delivered in two days, so I was quite satisfied.
Interviewer: Why do you think some people enjoy shopping online?
Student: I think people enjoy it because it saves a lot of time. You can compare prices and read reviews without leaving your home. Besides, online shops often offer good discounts.
Interviewer: What are some of the disadvantages of shopping online?
Student: The main disadvantage is that you can’t touch or try on things before buying them. Sometimes the item looks different from the picture. There is also a risk of being cheated by dishonest sellers.
Interviewer: Do you think it is a good idea to buy food online? Why or why not?
Student: I think it is a good idea for very busy people, because delivery saves time. However, I prefer to buy fresh fruit, vegetables and meat in a shop, because I want to choose them myself.
Interviewer: What would you recommend to a teenager who is going to buy some clothes online?
Student: I would recommend checking the size chart carefully before ordering. It is also a good idea to read customers’ reviews and to choose a shop that has an easy return policy.

Как выполнять
На каждый вопрос — 2–3 законченные фразы: прямой ответ плюс пояснение или пример. Одна фраза — 0 баллов за ответ.
Отвечайте в той же грамматике, в которой спросили: Have you ever bought…? — Yes, I have. I bought… (Present Perfect, потом Past Simple для конкретного случая).
На вопросы «почему» и «плюсы/минусы» называйте причину и подкрепляйте её: because…, besides…, also…
Вопрос «Why or why not?» требует мнения и аргумента; «What would you recommend…?» — совета: I would recommend doing…, It is a good idea to…
Избегайте элементарных ошибок: окончание -s в 3-м лице, артикли, форма глагола после enjoy и recommend (doing).
